The microstructure is (light microscopically) single-phase and shows strong deformation. The hardness is 189 HV0,1.

It is a precipitation hardening CuNiSi alloy with high strength characteristics and good relaxation capacity. The alloy is characterised by excellent spring properties and good corrosion resistance. Fields of application are automotive, connectors, carrier strips and components in electrical engineering.
