Inconel 713C or NiCr13MoAl contains about 13% chromium, 4% molybdenum and 6% aluminum. The precipitation-hardening high-temperature alloy is a typical material for turbine wheels, for example. The high aluminum content ensures oxidation resistance by forming protective Al2O3 layers. At high magnification, just the tiny angular γ‘ precipitations (mainly Ni3Al) can be seen in the subsurface.
