According to an EDX analysis (values in wt.-%), the alloy consists of:
- Fe 85 %
- Si 9.5 %
- Al 5.5 %
- Na 2.0 %
The powder is sintered into magnetic cores for coils. The sodium here is probably a sintering additive.
