The images show a sintered steel containing Cu, Ni, Mo and C. The density is between 6.4-6.8 g/cm³ according to DIN 30910-4.
The microstructure is quenched and tempered. The hardness is 825 HV 0.1 throughout (+-45 HV 0.1 n=60 indentations). Etching was carried out with 3% Nital for 15s. The proportion of pores was determined by quantitative image analysis at 5 points and is 18.2 %.
